📍 Jl. Raya Tegallalang, Gianyar
The Tegallalang Rice Terraces are the most iconic in central Bali — dramatic cascading paddies carved into a steep valley, still farmed using the traditional 1,000-year-old subak water management system. The viewpoint from the main road is spectacular.
Walking trails descend into the valley for closer views. Small entrance donation. Local farmers often offer rice-planting demonstrations. Best light: early morning or late afternoon. Combined visit with Bali Swing (nearby) is popular for photography.
