Warung Dhea is one of the best places to eat traditional Balinese food while gazing across the UNESCO rice terraces of Jatiluwih. The menu features local red rice (nasi merah) grown in the terraces below, freshly prepared gado-gado with peanut sauce, and ayam bakar (grilled chicken) marinated in Balinese spices.
All ingredients are sourced from within a few kilometers — vegetables from the terraces, chicken from village farms, coffee from Batukaru highlands. The open-air pavilion catches cool mountain breezes and offers unbeatable views. Prices are very reasonable (main dishes 30-60,000 IDR).
Open daily 8:00-18:00. Best visited during Jatiluwih trekking. 30 minutes from Nirjhara.
