📍 Ababi, Abang, Karangasem
Tirta Gangga (meaning "water from the Ganges") is a former royal palace built by the last raja of Karangasem in 1946. The gardens combine Balinese, Chinese, and European water architecture — three levels of pools, an 11-tier fountain, stepping stones crossing turquoise ponds, and dozens of stone statues.
Visitors can walk on the famous stepping stones across the main pool, feed the massive koi, or swim in the freshwater pools. Best photographed at sunrise. 20 minutes from Candidasa.
